Ingredients
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 12 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 12 cups flour
- 1 cup flax seed
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 2 12 tablespoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 14 cup canola oil
- 3 eggs
- 12 cup applesauce
- 14 cup chopped dried apricots or 14 cup prune
- 14 cup raisins
- 1 cup walnuts
- 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325.
- Mix all ingredients together in large mixing bowl.
- Work with batter and form into 2-3 inch balls.
- (use about 1/4 c measuring cup to scoop batter).
- Place on cookie sheets about 2 inches apart.
- Use the bottom of a glass dipped in water to flatten.
- Bake about 8 minutes for soft cookies.
- Cool.
