Ingredients

  • 2 c. Lowfat milk
  • scalded
  • 3 slc Buttered bread cubes
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 3 x Egg
  • beaten
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/2 c. Plumped raisins
  • 3 c. Water

  2. Grandma would delight in these tempters - luscious bread pudding and even a brand new cook can turn them out quickly, and with ease.
  3. Pour lowfat milk over bread cubes; let stand till slightly cooled.
  4. Add in remaining ingredients; mix well.
  5. Turn into a greased bowl which fits loosely on a low rack in cooker.
  6. Cover bowl with foil; place on rack with water in cooker.
  7. Close cover securely.
  8. Allow steam to flow from vent pipe for 5 min.
  9. Place pressure regulator on vent pipe; cook 10 min.
  10. Allow pressure to drop of its own accord.
  11. Makes 6 servings.
