Ingredients

  • 300 grams self raising flour
  • 110 grams castor sugar
  • 170 grams brazil nuts
  • roughly chopped
  • 1 egg
  • slightly beaten
  • 180 ml milk
  • 60 grams butter
  • melted
  • 12 whole brazil nuts
  • 225 grams packet
  • jersey
  • chocolate or plain caramels

Instructions

  1. grease 12 hole muffin pan.
  2. Sift flour into a large bowl ,stir in sugar,chopped nuts,egg,milk and meted butter.
  3. Keep muffin mixture quite rough do not stir until very smooth.
  4. spoon half the mixture into the prepared pan.place one or two caramels into centre of each muffin,top wiith remaining half.Top each with a brazil nut.
  5. bake in a moderate oven about 20 minutes and golden brown.
