Brauner Lebkuchen (Cookies) Recipe

Ingredients

• 2 lb Light brown sugar
• 1 lb Dark brown sugar
• 1/4 lb Shortening
• 1/4 lb Butter
• 2 c. Water
• 1 tsp Cinnamon
• 2 c. Pecans
• 2 tsp Lemon flavor
• 2 3/4 lb Flour
• 2 tsp Baking pwdr

Instructions

1. THESE COOKIES TAKE TWO DAYS TO MAKE !!

3. Bring Step One ingredients to boil; don't cook.
4. Then set aside till cool.
5. When cool add in Step Two ingredients.
6. Let stand overnight.
7. In the morning roll out on floured board to 1/8-inch thick and cut out with round cookie cutter.
8. Bake at 375 F. for about 10 min.
