Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 can (1 lb.) tomatoes
- 1 tbsp. salt
- 2 tsp. oregano
- 2 tsp. basil
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 3 cups cooked wheat kernels
- 4 cups cabbage
- coarsely shredded
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup finely chopped onions
- 1 cup finely chopped green peppers
- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Saute beef until lightly browned.
- Stir in tomatoes, seasonings, wheat and cabbage.
- Cover and cook 10 to 15 minutes, or until cabbage is tender crisp.
- Stir in sour cream, onions and green peppers.
- Heat.
- Spoon into warm serving dish and sprinkle with cheese.
- Let stand a few minutes before serving to allow cheese to melt.
