Ingredients

  • 16 ounce Canned Bing cherries liquid removed
  • 2 Tbsp. Granulated sugar
  • 1 pch Grnd cinnamon
  • 1 c. Red Bordeaux wine

Instructions

  1. In saucepan, combine cherries, sugar, cinnamon, and Bordeaux wine.
  2. Bring to boil.
  3. Simmer gently for 5 min.
  4. Chill.
  5. Serve in sherbet glasses.
  6. Suggested Wine: Chilled Bordeaux Sauternes; sweet Semillon.
