Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. Black beans
- 4 slc Bacon
- minced & fried
- 1/2 x Clove garlic
- crushed
- 1 x Onion
- finely minced
- 1 tsp Chili pwdr
- 1 dsh Salt
- 1 dsh Cayenne pepper Meat stock or possibly broth
- 2 c. Rice
- cooked
Instructions
- Soak beans overnight.
- Boil beans till tender.
- Drain.
- Add in bacon, garlic, and onions.
- Season with chili pwdr, salt and cayenne pepper to taste.
- Add in sufficient meat stock to cover beans and simmer slowly till the beans fall apart a little and make a thick rich sauce.
- Pour over mounds of hot cooked rice.
