Bittergourd with fermented soya bean

Ingredients

  • 1 piece bittergourd
  • small size about 200g
  • remove seeds
  • sliced very thinly
  • 1 piece red chilli
  • remove seeds
  • cut into small bits (please use gloves! )
  • 2 tbsp fermented soya bean (taucu)
  • 3 tbsp cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Heat cooking oil in frying pan using high heat.
  2. Stir fry bittergourd and chilli for 2 minutes.
  3. Add fermented soya bean.
  4. Stir fry evenly for about 1 minute till bittergourd softened.
  5. Ready to serve with rice or porridge.
