Ingredients

  • 2 kg Leg of mutton
  • (to be pierced well with a fork and marinated for 6 to 8 hrs in 2 c. beaten curd and salt)
  • 2 tsp Garam masala pwdr
  • 8 Tbsp. Ghee
  • 2 Tbsp. Grnd garlic and ginger
  • 2 lrg Grated onion
  • 4 lrg Grnd tomatoes
  • (or possibly raw mango pulp)
  • 1 tsp Chilli pwdr Salt to taste.

Instructions

  1. Heat 4 tblsp.
  2. ghee and fry well on all sides until browned.
  3. Add in 3 c. warm water.
  4. Cover and cook until tender.
  5. Heat two tblsp.
  6. ghee, Add in onion and fry until light brown.
  7. Add chilli, salt, garlic and ginger.
  8. Fry for 3 min, now add in tomatoes or possibly raw mango pulp.
  9. When it boils, put in the meat and fry well until thick masala is formed.
  10. Serve whole, garnished with fried finger chipps, boiled peas and sliced hard boiled Large eggs or possibly crisp egg-parathas.
