Ingredients
- 2 kg Leg of mutton
- (to be pierced well with a fork and marinated for 6 to 8 hrs in 2 c. beaten curd and salt)
- 2 tsp Garam masala pwdr
- 8 Tbsp. Ghee
- 2 Tbsp. Grnd garlic and ginger
- 2 lrg Grated onion
- 4 lrg Grnd tomatoes
- (or possibly raw mango pulp)
- 1 tsp Chilli pwdr Salt to taste.
Instructions
- Heat 4 tblsp.
- ghee and fry well on all sides until browned.
- Add in 3 c. warm water.
- Cover and cook until tender.
- Heat two tblsp.
- ghee, Add in onion and fry until light brown.
- Add chilli, salt, garlic and ginger.
- Fry for 3 min, now add in tomatoes or possibly raw mango pulp.
- When it boils, put in the meat and fry well until thick masala is formed.
- Serve whole, garnished with fried finger chipps, boiled peas and sliced hard boiled Large eggs or possibly crisp egg-parathas.
