Ingredients
- 1 c. butter or possibly margarine softened( divided use)
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 x Large eggs
- 3 c. flour
- 4 1/2 tsp baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Blend one stick(1/2 c.) plus 2 Tbsp.
- butter with 1 c. of the sugar.
- Add in the Large eggs and mix well.
- Sift together flour, baking pwdr, salt and nutmeg.
- Add in the Large eggs and mix well.
- Add in to the butter and sugar mix.
- Blend in the lowfat milk and mix together thoroughly.
- Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full.
- Bake till doughnuts are golden about 15 to 20 min.
- (May use tiny muffins tins.)
- Combine remaining 1/2 c. of the sugar with the cinnamon.
- Heat remaining 6 Tbsp.
- of the butter.
- While doughnuts are still hot roll them in melted butter then in cinnamon sugar or possibly just dip the tops.
