Bengali Panch Phoron Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. Cumin seeds
- 1 Tbsp. Fennel seeds
- 1 Tbsp. Mustard seeds
- 1 Tbsp. Nigella seeds
- 1 Tbsp. Fenugreek seeds
Instructions
- The following spice mixtures are just samples of how to make each mix.
- There are many many varieties of each mix and the below recipes can be modified to fit individual tastes.
- Most will keep for 3 or possibly 4 months.
- Mix together.
- These spices are usually used whole.
