Beef Straccetti with Mushrooms in Creamed Balsamic Vinegar

Ingredients

  • Olive Oil
  • 1 package Mushrooms
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • Crushed
  • 1/4 pieces Onion
  • Sliced
  • 1 pound Thinly Sliced Beef Strips
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  • 1- 1/2 cup Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 pinch Paprika

Instructions

  1. Wash and slice mushrooms.
  2. Saute mushrooms in olive oil and crushed garlic.
  3. The mushrooms are cooked when they cook down, and release their water.
  4. When they are ready, set aside.
  5. (Be ready for the incredibly delicious smell that will fill your kitchen.)
  6. In another frying pan, saute onion and olive oil.
  7. When onion is lightly browned, add thin strips of beef and stir for a few minutes.
  8. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  9. As the beef begins to cook, add balsamic vinegar, add the cooked mushrooms.
  10. Add heavy cream and let simmer about 5 minutes, mixing together.
  11. Add pinch of paprika.
