Ingredients
- 3-4 pounds beef
- short ribs cut in 2 to 3-inch lengths
- 1 each onions chopped
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 23 cup ketchup
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- tamari
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
Instructions
- Place short ribs on a broiler pan.
- Broil until well-browned to remove excess fat.
- Transfer to crockery pot.
- Saute` onion in butter until limp and golden.
- Pour in catsup, soy sauce, vinegar and brown sugar.
- Heat until blended.
- Pour over ribs.
- Cover.
- Cook on LOW 8 hours.
- Makes 4 servings.
