Ingredients
- 2 lbs. boneless top round
- 2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 lg. onion
- 1 tbsp. oil
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 1/2 teaspoon sherry
- 2 lg. tomatoes
- 1 green pepper
- 1/4 c. water
Instructions
- Slice meat across the grain into 1 x 1/16 inch slices.
- Make sauce of soy sauce, sugar, sherry, and cornstarch.
- Add in to meat.
- Let sit at least 15 min.
- Cut tomatoes, onions, and green pepper into chunks.
- Heat oil and cook onions quickly over medium heat.
- Add in meat and cook 3 min, stirring frequently.
- Add in green pepper, then tomato and water.
- Cook 2 more min.
- Serve at once over cooked rice.
