Beef In Wine Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 pound boneless beef chuck in 1 1/2 - 2 inch cubes
  • Garlic pwdr (optional)
  • 2 cans condensed golden brown mushroom soup
  • 1 env. onion soup mix
  • 3/4 c. dry sherry (I use burgundy or possibly white wine)
  • 1 can (8 ounce. size) sliced mushrooms

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle meat lightly with garlic pwdr.
  2. Put in casserole dish.
  3. Mix together remaining ingredients.
  4. Pour over meat.
  5. Mix well, cover and bake.
  6. Bake at 325 degrees about 2 hrs, till meat is tender.
  7. Serves 6-8.
