Ingredients
- 4 pound boneless beef chuck in 1 1/2 - 2 inch cubes
- Garlic pwdr (optional)
- 2 cans condensed golden brown mushroom soup
- 1 env. onion soup mix
- 3/4 c. dry sherry (I use burgundy or possibly white wine)
- 1 can (8 ounce. size) sliced mushrooms
Instructions
- Sprinkle meat lightly with garlic pwdr.
- Put in casserole dish.
- Mix together remaining ingredients.
- Pour over meat.
- Mix well, cover and bake.
- Bake at 325 degrees about 2 hrs, till meat is tender.
- Serves 6-8.
