Ingredients
- 3 cups ketchup
- 1 small onion
- chopped
- 12 cup brown sugar
- 12 cup molasses
- 14 cup mustard
- 14 cup corn syrup
- 12 cup water
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons chili powder (Gebhardts)", "2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce", "2 tablespoons liquid smoke (hickory)", "1 teaspoon garlic powder", "1 teaspoon salt", "1 teaspoon pepper", "Tabasco sauce
Instructions
- Cook everything in a sauce pot for 30 minutes over medium low heat.
- Strain onions and discard.
- Add Tabasco to taste.
- Store in fridge.
- Best served warm.
- Can be used as finishing sauce the last feew minutes of grilling.
- Contains sugar, so will burn over direct heat.
- Freezes well.
