Ingredients
- 3 pounds Round Steak (or Any Tough Cut)
- Flour
- For Dredging Steaks
- 2 Tablespoons Oil
- 1 cup Chopped Onion
- 3 Tablespoons Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Salt
- 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Mustard
- 1 can (29 Oz. Can) Tomato Sauce
- 1 cup Water
Instructions
- Heat oil in a fry pan.
- Dredge steaks in flour and brown on both sides.
- Mix remaining ingredients in a separate bowl.
- Add the sauce to the steaks.
- Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 2 hours, or until fork tender.
- Serve with mashed potatoes and use the sauce as a gravy.
