Ingredients

  • 3 pounds Round Steak (or Any Tough Cut)
  • Flour
  • For Dredging Steaks
  • 2 Tablespoons Oil
  • 1 cup Chopped Onion
  • 3 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Mustard
  • 1 can (29 Oz. Can) Tomato Sauce
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a fry pan.
  2. Dredge steaks in flour and brown on both sides.
  3. Mix remaining ingredients in a separate bowl.
  4. Add the sauce to the steaks.
  5. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 2 hours, or until fork tender.
  6. Serve with mashed potatoes and use the sauce as a gravy.
