Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian plum tomatoes -- Cored Seeded
  • 20 ml Garlic -- finely minced
  • 2 Tbsp. Onion -- finely minced
  • 1 tsp Chili flakes
  • 1/2 tsp Corn oil
  • 2 Tbsp. Water
  • 2 Tbsp. Tomato paste
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Red wine vinegar
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. Molasses
  • 1 tsp Mustard pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Tabasco sauce

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, puree the tomatoes, and set aside.
  2. IN a 1 1/2 qt saucepan, saute/fry the garlic, onion, and chili flakes in oil for 2 min.
  3. Add in the pureed tomatoes and remaining ingredients, and simmer for 15 min, uncovered.
