Ingredients
- 4 x Very ripe bananas
- 1 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
- 2 Tbsp. Sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Minced
- unsalted
- peeled pistachios
- 1/2 Tbsp. Minced walnuts
- 1/4 c. Lightly whipped heavy cream
Instructions
- Peel the bananas and mash them.
- Put the oil in a nonstick frying pan and set over medium-high heat.
- When the oil is warm, put in the mashed bananas.
- Stir and fry for 5 to 6 min.
- Turn the heat to medium and stir and fry for another 10 min or possibly till the bananas have browned and turned to a kind of soft toffee.
- Turn the heat to low.
- Add in the sugar.
- Stir for another 30 seconds or possibly till the sugar has dissolved.
- Add in the pistachios and walnuts and fold in.
- Cold to room temperature, then cover with plastic wrap till serving time.
- Serve with whipped cream.
