Baked Creamy Egg Hayashi Rice Using Leftover Hayashi Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 ladles worth Leftover Hayashi sauce (you can also use readymade sauce)
  • 2 rice bowls worth Hot cooked rice
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 desired amount Cheese for melting
  • 1 Butter

Instructions

  1. Warm leftover Hayashi sauce and mix with warm rice.
  2. Put in a heat-proof container greased with butter and make a dent in the middle.
  3. Put cheese around the dent and break the egg into the dent.
  4. Bake in a toaster oven.
  5. When cheese is browned it's ready to serve.
  6. It's difficult to tell from the photograph, but the soft cooked egg is very creamy.
  7. I personally recommend using a lot of mozzarella cheese.
