Ingredients
- 1/2 lb Thick-cut Irish bacon
- 1/4 c. Cider vinegar
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Dry mustard
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Cracked black pepper
- 1/3 c. Vegetable oil
- 1/2 lb Prewashed baby salad greens
Instructions
- 1.
- Slice bacon crosswise into 1/4-inch thick strips.
- Fry till crisp in a heavy skillet; drain and set aside.
- 2.
- In a pint jar with a lid, whisk together vinegar, sugar, mustard, salt and pepper.
- Add in oil; cover and shake till combined.
- 3.
- Divide the greens among 8 chilled salad plates; top with bacon.
- Shake dressing and drizzle over salads.
- Serve immediately.
