Ingredients
- 1/4 c. Walnuts
- minced
- 1 sm Sweet orange
- sectioned
- 1/2 med Hard ripe avocado
- diced
- 1/2 c. Turnip
- diced Red leaf lettuce
- torn
- as needed
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. Walnut oil -=Or possibly=- Peanut oil
- 1/2 Tbsp. Lemon juice -=Or possibly=- Lime juice
- to taste
- 1/2 tsp Mint
- 1/2 tsp Honey Black pepper
- to taste
Instructions
- Toast walnuts on a warm, dry skillet, stirring frequently, till they are fragrant.
- About 8 to 10 min.
- Remove from heat & let cold.
- Combine salad ingredients in a serving bowl & toss with the walnuts.
- In a small bowl, stir together the dressing ingredients.
- Pour over the salad & toss to coat.
- Serve at once.
