Ingredients

  • 3 Kiwis
  • 70 grams to 100 grams Granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Remove the skins from the kiwi and chop into small pieces.
  2. Put the chopped kiwi into a pot.
  3. Cover the kiwi with enough sugar to coat the pieces, add 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, and let sit for about 1 hour.
  4. When the liquid is drawn out of the kiwi, simmer for about 20 minutes on low heat, removing any scum that rises to the top.
  5. When the kiwi becomes translucent and the liquid thickens, it's done.
  6. Put it into a sterilized jar and chill.
  7. The sweet tartness and texture of the kiwi is astoundingly delicious.
  8. Enjoy it in yogurt or on bread.
