Ingredients
- 3 Kiwis
- 70 grams to 100 grams Granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
Instructions
- Remove the skins from the kiwi and chop into small pieces.
- Put the chopped kiwi into a pot.
- Cover the kiwi with enough sugar to coat the pieces, add 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, and let sit for about 1 hour.
- When the liquid is drawn out of the kiwi, simmer for about 20 minutes on low heat, removing any scum that rises to the top.
- When the kiwi becomes translucent and the liquid thickens, it's done.
- Put it into a sterilized jar and chill.
- The sweet tartness and texture of the kiwi is astoundingly delicious.
- Enjoy it in yogurt or on bread.
