Ingredients
- 2 tsp Oil
- 1/2 c. Onions
- minced
- 3 slc Bread
- 1/2 lb Apples
- Granny Smith
- 2 Tbsp. Parsley
- fresh
- 2 Tbsp. Currants
- 3/4 tsp Sage
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Thyme
- 1/8 tsp Black pepper
- 1/3 c. Apple juice
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Heat oil in small skillet over medium high heat.
- Add in onion and saute/fry 7 min, till tender.
- Toast and cube bread.
- Cube unpeeled apples.
- Chop fresh parsley.
- Toss remaining ingredients in large bowl; add in onions and stir.
- Spoon into 1-1/2 quart casserole coated with cooking spray.
- Bake for 15 min.
- Stir gently and bake another 10 min or possibly till top is crisp.
