Ingredients
- 2 lbs bulk sausage
- 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese
- grated
- 1 egg
- 15 ounces unseasoned breadcrumbs
- already crumbled or 4 slices bread
- toasted and crumbled in food processor
- 4 small apples
- cored
- unpeeled
- cut into bite-size pieces
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
- Using an ice cream scoop as a measure, form into 2-inch balls.
- Place on greased baking sheet and bake at 300 degrees until done, about 30 to 45 minutes.
